Is situated at an altitude of 1,110 m.

Predeal used to be a customs point until the Union of the Principalities in 1918, and at present it is one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Romania.

Atractions: the resort has great ski slopes, as well as cable transportation. Predeal represents also a starting point for mountain trips up the surrounding mountains: "Clabucetu Taurului" and "Clabucetu Baiului" Mountains, "Gārbova", "Diham", "Trei Brazi", "Paraul Rece" Chalets.
